Alternator 1.0 Dropouts are one of Salsa’s modular adjustable dropout systems. It consists of replaceable dropout plates and fixing hardware that are specifically designed for, and only compatible with, Salsa frames using the Alternator 1.0 and 1.5 system.

Frames and hardware designed for the Alternator 1.0 and 1.5 dropout system are not interchangeable with frames or hardware designed for Alternator 2.0 or Flat-Mount dropout systems.
